The temple served as the seat of the national deity, Lord Pashupatinath, Nepal is a secular country Pashupatinath Temple is the oldest Hindu temple in Kathmandu.
IMPORTANT : Hindus alone are allowed to enter the temple premises. Non-Hindu visitors are allowed to have a look at the temple from the other bank of Bagmati river.One must also make sure of timings as this temple is closed for lunch hour.

INFORMATION : Kailashnath Mahadev Statue (कैलाशनाथ महादेव) is a Shiva statue situated in Sanga, the border of Bhaktapur and Kavrepalanchok districts in Nepal.This is the World's Tallest Lord Shiva Statue and is 143 feet high.It is situated on a mountain 20km from the capital city of Nepal.This statue is made by an Indian Business-man who lives in Nepal and believes that the money which he has earned in the country shall be spent in the country too.This statue has taken 6 years to complete, the construction for this statue started in the year of 2004 and was completed in 21st June 2010.This is a statue which has made Nepal proud as it is not just the World's Tallest Lord Shiva Statue but it is also World's Tallest Hindu Religion God Statue.
